Therapeutic Approach & Services

Developing a genuine, trusting relationship with my clients is crucial in the effectiveness of therapy. I believe in the true healing power of relationships, so it is most important that you feel safe, heard, and truly seen. My approach is compassionate, down to earth, and non-judgmental.

I practice from a holistic-integrative approach. I view the mind-body-spirit connection as integral in understanding who you are as a whole person. We'll take into consideration the balance of many different aspects of your life. This includes how you incorporate movement and nourish yourself, what your relationships and community are like, your creative and spiritual practices, and an exploration of your daily rituals, habits and practices. I will also often incorporate mindfulness-based and self-compassion practices. Together we will find the tools, clarity, and self acceptance so you can more skillfully navigate your feeling states and move through the world with more ease and meaning.

I believe we need less fixing and more acceptance, less perfectionism and more good-enough, less criticism and more self-compassion. Some days there may be laughter, other days I will support a much-needed cry.
